Christmas Carousel

Follow the music, climb aboard, and take a whirl on the Christmas Carousel at Greeley Square! This double-decker ride is making its way to New York City for the first time ever this holiday season, so don’t wait to hop aboard. 

Find the Christmas Carousel at Broadway and 33rd Street in Greeley Square, just steps away from multiple subway stops, Moynihan Station, Herald Square Park, and Macy's Holiday Square shops. From atop the two-story carousel, enjoy 360-degree views of holiday lights and cheer all the way up Broadway.

  • All seated patrons must purchase and present a ticket to ride  
  • Children under 42" must be accompanied by one adult   
  • Adults with babies in carriers must ride on the chariot 
  • All patrons must exit the carousel at the end of the ride  
  • No riding backwards, side saddle, or two on a figurine  
  • Keep hands, legs, and head inside ride at all times  
  • Secure all cell phones and loose articles before riding  
  • No changing seats or walking on the carousel when it is in motion  
  • No strollers, luggage, packages, or food and drink allowed in the gated area  
  • Pets are not allowed on the carousel nor in the gated area  
  • Specific figurines are not guaranteed to patrons. They are available first come, first served  
  • Access to the top deck is not guaranteed   

The Christmas Carousel is open in light rain, but may close for inclement weather. Please check the Christmas Carousel message on our home page for daily updates, or follow our stories on social.

There are bathrooms located at the southern end of Greeley Square on 32nd Street and Sixth Ave, west of Perros y Vainas.  

I booked tickets for the Christmas Carousel online. Do I need to wait in line?
Once you arrive, please proceed directly to the line for boarding the Christmas Carousel. You do not need to wait in line at the ticket booth.

If I book multiple tickets, can I stay on the Christmas Carousel and ride it multiple times in a row?
No, you will need to exit and reenter the carousel for every new ride. You may be required to wait in line.  

What is your chaperone policy? 
Children under 42” must have a chaperone accompanying them on the ride. Chaperones may accompany children for free if they stand. Up to one chaperone per child. 

Can I have a party at the Christmas Carousel or rent it out for a private event?
Please email us and we will let you know if any possibilities exist.

How can I reschedule my reservation?
You may reschedule your reservation or cancel for store credit up until 9am on the day of your booking. Please see your email confirmation for the customer portal link to rebook.

Am I able to select the figurine I ride on ahead of time?
Specific figurines are not guaranteed to patrons, they are available first come, first served. Access to the top deck is also not guaranteed.

Will I be able to choose which deck I ride on?Deck access, like figurines, is available first come, first served. Access to the top deck is not guaranteed. 

Is this a physically intense ride?
No, the Christmas Carousel is not particularly fast or intense, but patrons should be prepared for change in direction, rapid movement, or momentary pauses. Please consult with your doctor ahead of time if you have any concerns. 

Is the Christmas Carousel accessible to wheelchair users and others that may need an accommodation?
Yes! Patrons using wheelchairs or other mobility devices are welcome to ride, please see an associate for assistance using our ramp.
